The Michigan Wind Energy Conference will provide presentations on: Danish Wind Development, US View of Wind Energy, Michigan Manufacturing Capacity, Green Jobs Market, Carbon Caps, Commercial Wind, Transmission, Community Wind Development, Off-Shore Wind Development and Small Wind Opportunities.

Wind energy is expected to bring major economic and environmental benefits to Michigan including new jobs to make wind turbines and components and new jobs to install and maintain wind turbines.  A greater use of wind power will impact:

· Manufacturers and potential suppliers to the wind industry
